Not each provider accepts every insurance. Please be sure to inquire about coverage when asking for a specific provider.

If you have a different insurance, call your insurance company to see if you have out-of-network benefits. If you do, they typically will reimburse you for 60-80% of the cost of each session.

Your out-of-network benefits are usually listed in the Summary of Benefits information on your insurance company’s website. It’s always a good idea to call the number on the back of your health insurance card listed under Member Services.

You can ask them the following questions:

    • Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?

    • What is my out-of-network deductible?

    • How much of my deductible has been met this year?

    • Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?

    • What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?

    • How much will I be reimbursed for a 60-minute psychotherapy session (CPT code:

      90837)?

    • How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?

    • How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?

If you have out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with monthly invoices called a “super bill” that will include all of the necessary information for you to submit your claims to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment.

  • Yes! We offer both in-person sessions at our Lincoln Park, NJ office and virtual sessions for clients located in New Jersey.

  • You can fill out our contact form or give us a call to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll help match you with the right therapist for your needs.
